Why are you in Kazakhstan?

I originally came to Kazakhstan my American fiancée, who at the time was offered a US government job in the region. After a year, however, we separated, and eventually she returned to the US while I remained.

While here I met Saltanat, and we were married in 2004. She works for the local office of a US law firm.
